I’m from Terre Haute, Indiana and have resided in Indianapolis since graduating from Indiana State University (BS Communication Studies and master’s degree in Management) in 1996.
My wife (Kim) and I share three loving and beautiful children (Kimara, Kaden, and Josh) and I am humbled to serve as the Senior Pastor of Zion Hope Church located on the east side of Indianapolis.
Helping others is a passion for me. I played high school basketball for Terre Haute North High School and earned First Team All-Vigo County Honors in 1991 and 1992, IHSAA All-State High Honorable Mention Top 25 and 1992 All American High Honorable Mention National AAU.
I earned a scholarship to play basketball at Indiana State University. However, a knee injury shortened my freshman season, and a cardiomyopathy ended my collegiate career before my sophomore year.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping others and serving the Lord.
I want each young person to realize that they are full of potential and possibility and that greatness is inside of them.
My role is to help them unlock hat potential so they can become the young men that God created them to be.
The Lord used athletics to open doors for our family and now He has called me to use my gifts to do the same while giving Him the glory.
